Grand Soleil Lemon Sorbet

I am a true Italian gelato addict. I seriously could probably eat gelato everyday; however, being that I want to stay in shape, my next go to is a Grand Soliel Lemon Sorbet. It has less calories, fat and still tastes delizioso::delicious!

Discounted Designer Market Shopping in Milan, Italy

I love having Italian friends who know where to go shopping in Milan! My two friends, Ilaria and Sara, took me to an Italian clothing market where you could buy discounted designer clothing and shoes from brands like: Versace, Jimmy Choo, Fendi, Gucci, Prada and Christian Dior, just to name a few. It felt like a scene from Sex and the City being around all those designer names. Retail price runs around 500 euros for a pair of high heels, yet even discounted down to 250euros, this footwear is still out of my price range. So, unfortunately, I could only stare, gawk and salivate at these gorgeous little creations, hoping not to drool too much as I passed by.

A special thanks to Ilaria and Sara for such a wonderful day shopping with you two in Milan! Baci!

Is the Abercrombie and Fitch Store in Milan, Italy’s New Theme Park?

Would you wait in a line this long just to get into the Abercrombie and Fitch store in Milan, Italy? Me? Absolutely not!

P.S. I didn’t see until after, but upon noticing the sexy, shirtless A & F model standing in the entrance doorway, I might be persuaded to change my mind…

Italian Restaurants Are Becoming Eco-Friendly

Wanting something light and healthy before our big shopping day in Milan, my two Italian friends and I stopped in at a piadina, crepe, salad and smoothie bar. Upon finishing our delicious lunch we had the joy of recycling our waste in two compacting machines–one for general waste and dirty items, and one for clean plastics and aluminum. It was so much fun that after doing it once, I wanted to do it again! Fortunately, after begging, pleading and offering my first born child, there was a nice couple who was willing to let me clear their empty plates for them.

I have never seen these compacting devices in American restaurants, but I’ve been out of country for the past 3 years. Am I wrong? Have they now become popular? What other cool recycling contraptions have you seen in your country or while traveling abroad?
